Q.1 Do I have to have any previous experience within the fitness industry to be considered for the course?

We only need a basic understanding of fitness exercise; however you don’t have to have any prior qualifications or certificates.

Q.2 How do I know I am fit enough to complete the course?

There is no such thing as a set fitness level for our students; instead, we simply desire that you perform the physical components of the course to the highest of your ability and anticipate a drive to succeed in these areas. Your physical fitness is an essential ingredient in personal training, and we will encourage you to improve it throughout the session.

LFE is different from other language schools in that we consider ourselves the industry leaders, and all of our tutors have the credentials and experience to back it up. Check out our Tutors section to see for yourself whether we’re right. We guarantee a teaching ratio of 1 tutor per 8 learners.

Q.4 How many students will be in the class?

At LFE, we understand how vital one-to-one learning experiences and ideal teacher to student ratios are. That is why, for every course, we guarantee that there will be a total of 16 students and a teacher to student ratio of 1:8.

Q.5 The course is based in London, are travel costs expensive?

We are fully aware that travel costs in and around London are high, therefore we advise taking out a TFL travel card for the duration of your course. A monthly tube and train ticket costs about £145, so keep track of your traveling expenses. Parking near the club is about £18 per day, with additional charges if you use the meters.

For non-CPD courses, we ask for a deposit of £250 to reserve your seat. The full payment must be received at least 2 weeks before the course commencement date. Payments may be made by cash, check, or credit or debit card over the phone or online. We can also talk about other methods of payment over the phone.

Q.8 How long are the Level 2 and Level 3 courses?

Both programs are long and face-to-face, and they can be completed separately or together as a package. The Level 2 Gym Instructor Award lasts 9 days in total, plus an extra day for the theory exam. Personal training is 21 days in duration, with all tests included.

For these intensive programs, you’ll be required to submit a portfolio of evidence documenting the level of skill needed by CYQ, our Awarding Body. To earn the qualification, you’ll also need to complete a series of tests that include both practical and theoretical components. A practical assessment is all that is necessary for CPD courses.
